Description
Our Pale Ale Malt is crafted from premium European 2-row spring barley and kilned longer than our Pilsen Malt, resulting in deeper modification, a richer golden color, and boosted enzymatic activity. It offers higher FAN levels and delivers a clean, balanced malty character.
Because of this golden color and its balanced flavor profile, this malt is typically used to brew blonde ales, strong blondes, pale ales and IPAs.
As a versatile base malt, it can be used up to 100% or blended with Pilsen Malt to enhance golden tones in your beer.
